2.8 Connectors 2.8.1 Rear panel connectors 1. USB 3.0 ports 1 and 2. These two 4-pin USB ports are available for connecting USB 3.0 devices. 2. PS/2 keyboard/mouse port (purple/green). This port is for a PS/2 keyboard or mouse. 3. Digital Visual Interface (DVI) port. This port is for any DVI compatible device. The DVI port supports digital and VGA interface. 4. COM 1 port. This connector is for serial port compatible devices that sends data one bit at a time. 5. RJ-45 ports for LAN1 and BMC Share. These ports allows Gigabit connection to a Local Area Network (LAN) through a network hub for BMC management function. Refer to the table below for the LAN port LED indications. 6. RJ-45 ports for LAN2. These ports allows Gigabit connection to a Local Area Network (LAN) through a network hub. Refer to the table below for the LAN port LED indications. 7. Location LED. The Location LED is an onboard LED that ligths up when the Location Button on the front panel is pressed.
