Product Introduction 1 1.1 Before you proceed Take note of the following precautions before you install motherboard components or change any motherboard settings. • Unplug the power cord from the wall socket before touching any component. • Before handling components, use a grounded wrist strap or touch a safely grounded object or a metal object, such as the power supply case, to avoid damaging them due to static electricity. • Before you install or remove any component, ensure that the ATX power supply is switched off or the power cord is detached from the power supply. Failure to do so may cause severe damage to the motherboard, peripherals, or components. 1.2 Motherboard overview 5 6 1 24.4cm(9.6in) 2 21 CPU DRAM VGA BOOT HDMI ATX_12V DP VGA DIGI+ VRM 11 12 ADD_GEN2_1 RGB_HEADER1 ATX_PWR DDR4 DIMM_B1 (64bit, 288-pin module) DDR4 DIMM_B2 (64bit, 288-pin module) DDR4 DIMM_A1 (64bit, 288-pin module) DDR4 DIMM_A2 (64bit, 288-pin module) USB_78 Place this side towards the rear of the chassis U32G2x2_C1 U32G1_9 LAN_U32G2_34 4 AUDIO 3 RTL Ethernet AIO_PUMP CPU_FAN M.2_1(SOCKET3) LGA1700 PCIEX1(G3)_1 2242 2260 M.2_1(SOCKET3) PCIE SATA 4.0 X4 X 2280 PCIEX16(G4) ASM 1074 U32G1_E3 M.2(WIFI) BATTERY 2230 PCIEX1(G3)_2 Super I/O COM_DEBUG 3 PCIEX16(G3) Intel® B660 M.2_2(SOCKET3) M.2_3(SOCKET3) Audio Codec 22110 2280 2260 2242 M.2_2(SOCKET3) PCIE SATA Optane Memory 4.0 X4 X V AURA 2242 M.2_3(SOCKET3) PCIE SATA 4.0 X2 X 2260 128Mb BIOS SPDIF_OUT AAFP COM ADD_GEN2_3 TB_HEADER CLRTC USB_56 CHA_FAN2 USB_11E4 RGB_HEADER2 CHA_FAN3 SATA6G_3 SATA6G_4 PANEL TPM 2280 17 15 14 19 13 12 11 10 4 7 18 CHA_FAN1 SATA6G_2 SATA6G_1 U32G1_E12 ADD_GEN2_2 30.5cm(12in) 5 11 9 8 16 7 4 6 20 Unplug the power cord before installing or removing the motherboard.
