4.1.4 Intel® Virtual Raid on CPU in UEFI BIOS This feature requires a KEY module to enable CPU RAID functions with Intel® CPU RSTe. • The KEY module is purchased separately. • Due to CPU behavior, CPU RAID functions with Intel® CPU RSTe only supports Intel® Core™ X-series Processors (6-core or above) and Intel® SSD modules. • Refer to section Internal connectors for the location of the VROC_HW_KEY connector. • Due to hardware design, CPU RAID configuration as OS drives is only supported in the following configuration sets and cannot be created across different sets: [Set 1] U.2_1, U.2_2, and U.2_3. [Set 2] PCIEX16_1 to PCIEX16_3 with Intel® SSD installed. [Set 3] PCIEX16_4 to PCIEX16_7 with Intel® SSD installed. • Due to hardware design, RAID Volume between M.2_1 and M.2_2 is not supported. To enter the Intel® Virtual Raid on CPU in UEFI BIOS: 1. Enter the BIOS Setup during POST. 2. Go to the Boot menu > CSM (Compatibility Support Module) > Launch CSM, then set the item to [Disabled]. 3.
