2.5 Expansion slots 2.5.1 Installing expenstion card ASUS RS162-E4/RX4 sever has a specially designed PCI riser card. If you want to install PCI-X and PCI Express x8 expension cards, you have to remove the mental brackets on the real panel of the chassis first. To install the PCI-X card: (the slot support PCI-X or 3.3V campatiable PCI cards.) 1. You can install one PCI Express x8 card and one PCI-X card. Please carefully hold the PCI-X riser card and pull it off from the PCI-X slot on the board. 2. Set the riser card aside. Using a cross screw driver to remove the screws as shown. 3. Insert a PCI-X card into the slot of the riser card, then put the screws back and fasten it. ASUS RS162-E4/RX4 2-13
