Adjusting the volume settings 1. After rebooting the system, click on the volume control icon on the Windows® taskbar to display the V o l u m e C o n t r o l window. 2. Click the Volume Control A d v a n c e d button. The Advanced Controls for V o l u m e C o n t r o l window appears. To achieve 6-channel audio capability when playing DVDs, check the boxes opposite A C 3 S P D I F and P C M S P D I F. Click C l o s e. Adjusting the microphone settings 1. Click on the Microphone A d v a n c e d button to display the A d v a n c e d Controls for Microphone window. 2. Check the box opposite M i c 2 S e l e c t to enable the front panel microphone. 3. Click C l o s e for the new settings to take effect. 5-16 The rear panel Mic port (pink) is automatically disabled when you enable the front panel Mic port. Only one Mic port works at a time.
