5.4.4 Chipset The Chipset menu allows you to change the advanced chipset settings. Select an item then press to display the sub-menu. Advanced Chipset Settings WARNING: Setting wrong values in below sections may cause the system to malfunction. NorthBridge Configuration Configure North Bridge feature. NorthBridge Configuration North Bridge chipset Configuration Memory Remap Feature Configure DRAM Timing by SPD [Disabled] [Enabled] Initiate Graphic Adapter Internal Graphic Mode Select Fixed Graphic Memory Size DVMT Graphic Memory Size [PEG/PCI] [Enabled, 8MB] [128MB] [128MB] PEG Port Configuration PEG Force x1 [Disabled] ENABLED: Allow remapping of overlapped PCI memory above the total physical memory. DISABLED: Do not allow remapping of memory Memory Remap Feature [Disabled] Allows you to enable or disable the remapping of the overlapped PCI memory above the total physical memory. Enable this option only when you install 64bit operating system. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Configure DRAM Timing by SPD [Enabled] When this item is enabled, the DRAM timing parameters are set according to the DRAM SPD (Serial Presence Detect). When disabled, you can manually set the DRAM timing parameters through the DRAM sub-items. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled] Initiate Graphic Adapter [PEG/PCI] Allows you to select the graphics controller as the primary boot device.
