SATA Controller(s) [enabled] This item allows you to enable or disable the SATA Device. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] SATA Mode Selection [AHCI] This item allows you to set the SATA configuration. [AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally optimize the order of commands. [RAID] Set to [RAID] when you want to create a RAID configuration from the SATA hard disk drives. The following item appears only when you set the SATA Mode Selection to [RAID]. M.2 PCIE Storage RAID Support [Disabled] This item allows you to enable or disable PCIE port to SATA for RAID Remapping. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] SATA Express PCIE Storage RAID Support [Disabled] This item allows you to enable or disable PCIE port to SATA for RAID Remapping. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] PCIEX16_3 PCIE Storage RAID Support [Disabled] This item allows you to enable or disable PCIE port to SATA for RAID Remapping. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] SMART Self Test [On] SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitoring system that shows a warning message during POST (Power-on Self Test) when an error occurs in the hard disks. Configuration options: [On] [Off] Aggressive LPM Support [Disabled] This item is designed for LPM (link power management) support with a better energy saving conditions. When disabled, the hot plug function of SATA ports are disabled. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] SATA6G_1(Gray) - SATA6G_6(Gray) SATA6G_1(Gray) - SATA6G_6(Gray) [Enabled] This item allows you to enable or disable the selected SATA port. This item allows you to enable or disable the SATA Device.

Conﬁguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]

SATA Mode Selection [AHCI]

This item allows you to set the SATA conﬁguration.

[AHCI]

Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI

(Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage

driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage

performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally

optimize the order of commands.

[RAID]

Set to [RAID] when you want to create a RAID conﬁguration from the SATA
