Contacts settings
The phonebook settings menu enables you
to view memory status, set the preferred
storage media, determine which fields appear
in the phonebook, edit/send a vCard, activate
functions such as speed dial and password
protection, and set caller videos.
To view memory status:
1.
From the main menu, select
Contacts
Settings
> Memory Status
.
2.
Press
OK
to display memory status.
To set the preferred storage:
1.
From the main menu, select
Contacts >
Settings
> Default Storage
.
2.
Press the up/down navigation key to
highlight the preferred storage location,
then press
OK
to confirm.
The phonebook fields include additional contact
information, such as Home Number, Office
Number, Fax Number, Company Name, E-Mail
Address, Incoming Picture, Incoming Ringtone,
Caller Group, and Incoming Video. You can
choose to deactivate these fields for all contacts
if this simplifies the phonebook for you. You can
later reactivate the fields if desired.
To edit the phonebook fields:

A list of fields is displayed.

My vCard
A vCard is a virtual calling card that you can
send to people. It can contain your name, cell
phone number, home number, office number,
fax number, company name, and e-mail
address.
To edit and send your vCard:
1.
From the main menu, select
Contacts >
Settings > My vCard
.
2.
Select the
Edit
option to fill in the fields,
then select
Save
. Select the
Send to
option to send the vCard by SMS, MMS,
Bluetooth, or file.
NOTE:

sending MMS and SMS messages.
Speed Dial
The speed dial option assigns single number
keys to phone numbers of your contacts so that
you can quickly call those numbers by holding
the assigned keys.
To assign a key to a speed dial number:
1.
From the main menu, select
Contacts >
Settings > Speed Dial > Number List
.
2.
Highlight any number from 2~9, then
select
Options > Edit
. Choose a contact
from your phonebook and select OK.
