FDTV2A 7 Installation (continued) To connect the FDTV2A with the amplifier to a converter box or other tuning device: FDTV2A Built-In Coaxial Cable ANTENNA Amplifier Insert TV/STB Converter Box Audio/Video Coaxial Cables -or- Cable TV 1. Make sure your converter box is turned off. 2. Connect the FDTV2A's built-in cable to the input jack of the amplifier. 3. Connect the amplifier's cable to the antenna input on the converter box. 4. Follow the directions in the manual that came with your converter box to connect it to your TV. 5. Plug the power adapter into the amplifier and into an electrical outlet. Important: This power adapter should be plugged in so that it stays vertical or lays flat. 6. Run your converter box's setup routine to scan for available broadcast channels.
