GMRS1262 OPERATIONAL MODES WEATHER BAND GMRS/FRS BAND CHANNEL SELECT WEATHER BAND SELECT NOTE: 1. To switch between GMRS/FRS and Weather Band modes, press and hold the Mode/WB button for 3 seconds. Refer to the appropriate section of this manual for detailed operating instructions for each mode. 2. To enter the VOX mode, press and hold the S/VOX button for 3 seconds. Controls: CHANNEL SELECT CTCSS SELECT POWER SELECT (GMRS Channels Only) VOX LEVEL SELECT DUAL WATCH BUTTON BEEP ROGER BEEP CALL SELECT LED Flashlight Button (16) Press this button on the right side of the Transceiver to light the white LED (15) on top of the unit, thereby activating the built-in flashlight function. Power On/Off/Keylock (13) Button Momentarily press (about 1second) the power on/off button ( ). You will hear a dual beep to indicate the unit is on. Press the on/off button again for 2 seconds to turn the unit off. When the unit is on and the button is pressed for 3 seconds, the keylock icon ( ) will appear to confirm the MODE, SCAN and channel up/down buttons have been disabled.
