Making an Outgoing Call, Call Transfer, Call Logs

VM9424 Volume Control To increase or decrease the volume level, turn the VOL rotary encoder (5) on the front panel or press the VOL+/ VOL- buttons on the remote control (16, 15). Making an Outgoing Call Outgoing calls can be made using the direct dial screen or by selecting a number from the "Call Logs" screen (see "Call Logs" on page 46). Use the 0-9, */+ and # buttons to input the phone number. • Touch the C button to clear the last digit. • Touch the button to clear the entire number and start over. 3. After entering the phone number, press the button to dial the call. 4. To end the conversation, press the button. Call Transfer While talking, to transfer audio from the head unit back to the mobile phone, touch the button. You can only transfer a call after it has been answered. Press again to transfer the call back to the head unit. Call Logs The Bluetooth menu appears on the right side of the screen. Touch Call Logs to view stored contact information. NOTE: Not all phones allow access to missed, received or dialed calls and some will not allow uploading of your phone's address book. 46

Making an Outgoing Call
Outgoing calls can be made using the direct dial screen or by selecting a
number from the “Call Logs” screen (see “Call Logs” on page 46). To make a
call from the direct dial screen:

NOTE: Not all phones allow access to missed, received or dialed calls
and some will not allow uploading of your phone’s address book.
