The BEHRINGER FCA202 allows you to connect instruments and other audio devices to your computer, effectively merging the analog and digital worlds. It accomplishes this via 2 analog mono Inputs and Outputs (for monitoring) and FireWire connectivity for direct analog-to-digital conversion. The stereo headphone output features a dedicated level control and lets you listen to both the input and output. We even give you some pretty amazing software that you will need to get your dreams off the ground! Your Portal to the Digital Domain The FCA202 allows you to converse with your computer in a language it understands - digital. When you connect line-level devices, such as synthesizers, electronic drums or the outputs of an audio mixer to the FCA202, its 24-bit A/D (Analog to Digital) converters swing into action, turning the audio signal into digital data. Now your computer has something it can work with. You can record your performance and play back your masterpiece through a pair of studio monitors, which can be connected to the FCA202's outputs, or you can listen using headphones.
