ULTRA SHIFTER/HARMONIST US600 (9) The two 1/4" TS OUT A and OUT B connectors send the signal to your amp. If both outputs are used they will output different signals in the modes Pitch Shifter, Harmonist and Detune. OUT A will have the pitch shifted signal while OUT B will have the input signal. The volume of both outputs will be effected by the BALANCE control. In Trem Bar and Flutter mode both outputs will have the pitch shifted signal. (10) Use the 1/4" TRS EXP/CTL connector to connect an expression pedal. Set the pedal to the lowest position when connecting it to the unit. Then push it to the forward position and choose the desired pitch value with the PITCH control. Now you can control the pitch value of the effect within the range defined by the PITCH control (low position = no pitch shift, forward position = maximum pitch shift). Use the DC IN connection at the front of the unit to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included). The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located underneath the pedal cover. To install or replace the 9 V battery (not included), press the hinges with a ballpoint pen and remove the pedal cover. Be careful not to scratch the unit. ◊ The US600 has no on/off switch. As soon as you insert the plug into the in connector, the US600 begins running. When not using the US600, remove the plug from the in connector. This extends the life of the battery. The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the underside. ◊ In rare cases interferences of the normal function may appear by external influence (e.g. electrostatic discharge), as for example sound disturbances or malfunctions. If this occurs, please turn down the volume on subsequent amplifiers and disconnect the input connector briefly to restart the application. 2.
