3 Operation 3.1 Preparation A WARNING: First time use: Run the appliance at least 4 times without adding coffee. A WARNING: Please follow the steps 1 - 2 and 7 - 12 in the "Brewing Coffee" section. 1. Remove all packaging and stickers and dispose of them according to applicable legal regulations. 2. Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all parts which come into contact with water carefully. Please see full details in the "Cleaning and Care" section. 3. Make sure that the appliance is placed in an upright position and on a stable, flat, clean, dry, and non-slip surface. 3.2 Brewing Coffee 1. Remove the water tank (6) by holding the moulded handles at the rear of the tank and lifting upwards and fill with the required amount of water, but do not fill past the "10" mark. The brewed amount of coffee will be 10% less than the filled water, because it is absorbed by the coffee grounds and the filter. For the good coffee taste it is suggested to operate the appliance with at least 4 cups coffee serving. C Use only clean, cold, and fresh drinking water. There is a drip hole on the back C of the water reservoir to prevent exceeding the capacity of the coffee maker. If you add too much water, it will drip out from the back of the appliance. 2. Close the water tank cover (1) and open the filter basket cover (2). 3. Pull out the filter basket (3). 4. Take a suitable paper filter (1 x 4) and insert the paper filter into the filter basket (3). C Use only one paper filter at each time. Make sure that the paper filter does not bend or fold. 5. Fill the filter with the desired amount of ground coffee. To do this, you may use the supplied measuring spoon. 6. Insert the filter basket (3) back into the housing. 7. Place the glass jug (8) on the warming plate (9). WARNING: If the filter basket (3) A is not closed or the glass jug (8) is not placed accurately, the drip-stop function will not work properly. It could cause hot water or hot coffee to overflow. 8. Connect the plug to the wall socket. 9. Turn the appliance on by pushing the On/Off button (16). - The On/Off button (16) illuminates and the brewing process begins. C The brewing process can be stopped at any time by pushing the On/Off button (16) again. C Ventilation slots allow the steam output. Do not block these during use. The coffee machine has a staywarm function and can keep the C brewed coffee warm for up to 30 minutes when the machine is switched on. 3. Make sure that the appl±ance ±s placed ±n an
upr±ght pos±t±on and on a stable, flat, clean, dry,
and non-sl±p surface.
3.2 Brew±ng Coffee
1. Remove the water tank (6) by hold±ng the
moulded handles at the rear of the tank and
l±ft±ng
upwards
and
f±ll
w±th
the
requ±red
amount of water, but do not f±ll past the “10”
mark. The brewed amount of coffee w±ll be 10%
less than the f±lled water, because ±t ±s absorbed
by the coffee grounds and the f±lter. For the
good coffee taste ±t ±s suggested to operate the
appl±ance w±th at least 4 cups coffee serv±ng.

Use
only

and
fresh
dr±nk±ng water.

There ±s a dr±p hole on the back
of the water reservo±r to prevent
exceed±ng the capac±ty of the coffee
maker. If you add too much water,
±t w±ll dr±p out from the back of the
appl±ance.
2. Close the water tank cover (1) and open the
f±lter basket cover (2).
3. Pull out the f±lter basket (3).
4. Take a su±table paper f±lter (1 x 4) and ±nsert the
paper f±lter ±nto the f±lter basket (3).

Use only one paper f±lter at each

does not bend or fold.
5. F±ll the f±lter w±th the des±red amount of ground
coffee. To do th±s, you may use the suppl±ed
measur±ng spoon.
6. Insert the f±lter basket (3) back ±nto the hous±ng.
7. Place the glass jug (8) on the warm±ng plate
(9).

If the f±lter basket (3)

funct±on w±ll not work properly. It
could cause hot water or hot coffee

8. Connect the plug to the wall socket.
9. Turn the appl±ance on by push±ng the On/Off
button (16).
– The On/Off button (16) ±llum±nates and the
brew±ng process beg±ns.

The brew±ng process can be stopped

button (16) aga±n.

warm funct±on and can keep the
brewed
coffee
warm
for

to
30 m±nutes when the mach±ne ±s
sw±tched on. In accordance w±th eco
des±gn gu±del±nes, the mach±ne w±ll
automat±cally sw±tch ±tself off after
th±s t±me.
