Troubleshooting Problem: • Phone Adapter is not working. • LEDs do not come on. Solution: If the LED indicators are not ON, the problem may be that the Phone Adapter is not connected properly. Verify that the Phone Adapter is plugged into a power source. Check to see that the cables are connected to the correct ports and that they are secure. Problem: There is no dial tone and the "Line 1" (or "Line 2") LED is not lit. Solution: 1. Power off your cable or DSL modem by unplugging its power adapter. 2. Power off the router by unplugging its power adapter. 3. Disconnect all Ethernet cables from both the modem and router. 4. Wait for three minutes, and then power on your cable or DSL modem by plugging its power adapter into an electrical outlet. 5. Wait for three minutes, and then power on your router by plugging its power adapter into an electrical outlet. 6. Wait for five minutes, and then power on the Phone Adapter by plugging its power adapter into an electrical outlet. 7. Make sure the RJ11 telephone cable between the telephone handset and the Phone Adapter is connected to the Phone Adapter's "Line 1" port, and that the RJ11 telephone cable is firmly in place. 8. Make sure the "connected" LED on the front panel of the Phone Adapter is lit, then check your router and network connection to the Internet. 10

Troubleshooting
Problem:

Solution:
