power

switch

to

"ON"

position

without

any

load

or

device

plugged

into

the

inverter.

Allow

approximately

15

seconds

for

warm

up.

Make

sure

your

AC

appliance

switch

is

in

the

"OFF"

position.

Plug

the

AC

plug

of

your

computer,

fax,

stereo,

TV,

VCR,

or

other

AC

device/appliance

into

either

of

the

two

AC

sockets

of

the

inverter.

(Warning:

Do

not

plug

the

AC

appliance

into

the

inverter

while

the

AC

appliance

is

ON.

Doing

so

may

damage

the

inverter.)

Turn

your

AC

appliance

switch

to

the

"ON"

position

and

you

are

now

ready

to

enjoy

the

convenience

of

this

unique

Belkin

the

emits

a

"beep'

sound,

it

indicates

that

your

battery

or

DC

power

less

voltage

from

the

car

cigarette

lighter

fl

uctuates

between

volts

to

volts.

overvoltage

protection

will

activate

once

the

voltage

rises

above

volts

and

the

inverter

will

turn

off.

Power

inverters

are

not

intended

for

continuous

use

over

extended

periods

time.

elements

demanding

capacity

the

AC

adapter

Placing

the

inverter

too

close

to

a

hot

surface

or

heat

-generating

device

may

cause

the

inverter

to

overheat.
