Driver Installation Installation Procedure for Windows XP (1) Windows will detect "NEC PCI to USB Open Host Controller" The required driver support will be automatically installed. No user input is required. This will repeat one more time. NOTE: USB 2.0 driver support is not included in the initial release version of Windows XP. These drivers will be included in Windows XP Service Pack 1. Beginning in early January 2002, the Windows XP USB 2.0 drivers will be EN available from Microsoft via "Windows Update". You must have a connection to the Internet in order to access "Windows Update". (2) Windows will detect "Universal Serial Bus". If you have a connection to the Internet the Windows "New Hardware Installation " wizard will access "Windows Update" and automatically download and install the USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller driver. (3) Windows will detect "USB Root Hub". The required driver support will be automatically installed. This will repeat 2 times. Installation is now complete. 11

required driver support will be automatically installed. No user
