Attaching extended reach tool • Slide the nozzle (3) into the extended reach tool (13) as shown in Figure F. • To remove the floor extension tube, depress the floor extension release button (12) and pull the tube off of the vacuum. F depress the power button (1) once. The feature will automatically detect the service that is being vacuumed. NOTE: Once the power button is depressed twice, the vacuum will only operate in BOOST mode. Removing and clearing the beater bars • Depress the beater bar release button (18) as shown in Figure I. I • A flip-up brush (15) is built into the extended reach tool (13) and can be flipped upwards for use as shown in Figure G. G 18 • The beater bar (19) can now be removed. The end pieces are removable, allowing you to clear the brushes from any hair or other debris that has accumulated during use (Figure J). J Fitting the floor head • Ensure the flip-up brush (15) is folded 19 back behind the extended reach tool (13). • Slide the extended reach tool onto the floor head (16) as shown in Figure H. H Dry pick up • For everyday spills of dry material. • Do not fill the dust bowl (8) beyond the end of the intake chute. Optimizing the suction force In order to keep the suction force optimised, the filters must be cleared regularly during use. AUTOSENSE (EXCLUDES HFEJ415JWMF22) The appliance is fitted with a unique floor sense feature. The appliance is fitted with a unique floor
