ATTACHING REGULAR ABRASIVE SHEETS USING SHEETLOC™ SYSTEM The Bosch-exclusive SheetLoc™ Sandpaper Attachment System pulls regular abrasive sheets (sandpaper) flat and tight before clamping to prevent wrinkles, creases and tears for optimal sanding performance and longer paper life. Patent Pending. 1. While pressing the front clamp release button, insert the abrasive sheet (grit side down) between the front clamp and base plate. Make sure sheet is centered under the front clamp and inserted deep enough to be fully under the front clamp, then release button (Fig. 2). Note: It is not necessary to insert the paper so deep that its front edge curls and goes behind the back of the front clamp. 2. Press the rear clamp lever inward to unlock from latch and move lever away from base plate. (Fig. 3). 3. Wrap the abrasive sheet around the length of the pad and slide free end of sheet between rear clamp bar and rear clamp spring plate (Fig. 4). Flatten the abrasive sheet by pushing it as far to the back as possible, then move the rear clamp lever to the base plate and lock in place (Fig. 5). This action pulls the abrasive sheet taut while clamping, which prevents wrinkles, creases and tears. REMOVING REGULAR ABRASIVE SHEETS Simply press the front clamp button and release the rear clamp lever to remove the abrasive sheet.
