Connections

Use

the

cables

correctly

O

the

supplied

cables

to

connect

the

cube

speakers

to

the

module

and

the

module

to

your

!liner

or

receiver.

To

place

these

components

more

than

20

feet

(6.2-9.2

m)

apart,

you

will

need

to

splice

in

a

length

of

standard

zip

cord

(2

conductor,

18

-gauge

wire

found

at

electrical

and

hardware

stores).

To

place

them

more

than

30

feet

(9.2

m)

apart,

you

will

need

heavier

gauge

wire.

See

the

wire

recommendations

on

page

9.

Or

check

with

your

authorized

Bose

dealer.

Speaker

cable

consists

of

two

insulated

wires.

The

insulation

around

one

wire

is

marked

with

a

band

or

stripe.

This

marked

wire

is

always

positive

(4.

The

plain

wire

is

always

negative

(-).

These

correspond

to

the

red

(+)

and

black

(-)

terminals

on

the

back

of

the

speaker,

amplifier,

or

receiver.

Be

sure

to

connect

each

wire

to

the

proper

terminal

(positive

to

positive,

negative

to

negative).

Connect

the

cube

speakers

1.

Attach

the

end

of

one

speaker

cable

to

the

terminals

on

the

back

of

a

cube

speaker.

Just

press

the

terminal

tab

and

insert

each

wire.

2.

Use

a

second

speaker

cable

to

repeat

step

1

for

the

second

cube

speaker.

3.

Connect

the

free

end

of

the

first

cable

to

WE

he

LEFT

OUTPUTS

TO

CUBE

SPEAK-

RS

terminals

on

the

bass

module.

Cube

speakers

do

not

attach

directly

to

your

amplifier

or

receiver

(Figure

4).

second

it

to

the

bass

RIGHT

OUTPUTS

speaker's

listen,

the

cube

speaker

terminals

on

Connect

the

bass

module
