Automatic Preset Setup In Radio Mode, touch and keep (for more than 2 ' S) the screen of " " range to active automatic station storage. The radio searches within the current frequency band, e.g. Fm3, for the stronger signal level until the search cycle has finished . The six strongest stations are then allocated to the corresponding storage locations . Then the station of the first storage location is set . ICON to enter the set mode, the message in the display : PI MUTE / PI SOUND (only for radio operation) RADIO If you are in an area where two program ST/MONO STEREO identifications (PI) overlap, you can LOCAL DX select the option PI SOUND and AREA EUROPE PI MUTE for playback of the sound. Alternate switching of the program identification should be avoided . Touch EUROPE AREA then power off the unit and turn on again to select RDS function as follow: PI SOUND : If switching nevertheless occurs the sound of another station is heard for less than one second . -18-
