The AX -10 is designed for portable efficiency and is alone in its class. Both Pica pitch which types 10 characters per inch, and Elite pitch that types at 12 characters per inch can be selected quickly and easily. A repeat function lets you print a continuous series of characters by simply holding down a single key In addition, the following functions are also readily available: 40-character correction memory Half backspace Relocate after correction Express backspace When the power of the typewriter is switched ON, the left margin is set to position 10 and the right margin is set to position 75 of Pica pitch. The margin can be freely changed by following the procedures outlined below: Note: The minimum number of characters between the margins is 20 for Pica pitch, and 24 for Elite pitch. MARGIN RELEASE H14 The margin release key is used to move past an existing margin either temporarily for typing or in order to set a new margin. When a presently set margin is reached the carrier will stop. To continue carrier movement past the margin, press the margin release key. H We understand that you are in the market
