Adjustment of upper thread 0.8~1.4N Upper stitch width Upper thread W1248Q Lower thread Lower stitch width W1249Q Adjust upper thread tension to 0.8~1.4N when the thread is pulled at the needle bar thread guide. * Correct adjustment Turn the upper thread tension dial so that the needle thread can be pulled to the back of the material and that the lower stitch width will be about 1/3 of the upper stitch width. ! Adjustment of tension spring [1] [2] [3] 6~8mm 14mm 0.2~0.3N W1250Q 1. The standard height of the tension spring is the point from where the upper thread comes down by about 14 mm when it is pulled with certain tension which does not pull out the thread. 2. The standard force of the tension spring is 0.2 to 0.3 N at the start of the motion when it is pulled in the direction illustrated.
