A Caution: Thefollowing precautions apply to labels purchasedfrom your dealer as well asfrom other sources: Curling can resultfrom the characteristics of the paper and handling conditions. Beforefeeding labels, put a stack of labels approximately 50 mm thick on your desk and check that it laysflat (the gap between any portion, of the label and the desk surface should be less than 1 mm). If labels are curled, they must be straightened beforefeeding. To avoid damaging the edge of the paper, handle labels in stacks of less than 200 sheets. Store your labels horizontally, in stacks of less than 1000 sheets, on a flat surface slightly larger than the sheets to prevent curling. Even pressure should be applied to the entire surface, and the storage location should well ventilated and protectedfrom direct sunlight and other sources of heat. 118
