CHAPTER 8 TROUBLESHOOTING 3. PAPER TRANSPORT ERROR Paper is transported through the path shown in Fig.8-1. Paper jams at the following locations are easily cleared. • Paper Feeding Roller • Fusing Unit • Transfer Unit • Paper Exit Unit Fusing unit Paper exit roller Oil bottle Drum cleaner OPC belt cartridge Top cover Toner cartridge Paper exit unit K Transfer unit Paper discharger unit /' Transfer roller. Set the paper in the correct place. Set the end plate to meet the paper size. Stack the paper below the line. Clean the paper guide with a cotton cloth. Remove the paper.
