Note • For details on the appliqué process, refer to "Using Appliqués" in the Operation Manual for the embroidery machine. a Touch [Embroidery].  The embroidering screen appears. b Touch the [Retrieve] key. c Touch the [Wireless LAN Device] key. d Touch . e Touch the [OK] key or the [Set] key to continue to the next screen, arrange the patterns in the mat, and then touch the [OK] key.  The preview screen appears. f Prepare the fabric for the appliqué piece. * For this example, affix double-sided stabilizer material to the back of the fabric. g Attach the material to the appropriate mat, and then insert the mat into the cutting machine. h Insert the blade holder appropriate for the material into the carriage of the machine, and then cut the material. Note • Before beginning to embroider, check the embroidering order to confirm that appliqué pieces are sewn in appropriate sequence. • Some embroidery pattern may sew hidden stitches on the appliqué material. Check the embroidery order before starting embroidering and rearrange it so that the hidden stitches will be sewn under the appliqué material. For details on how to change the embroidering order, refer to the FAQ on the Brother support website (https://s.brother/ cfeka/). • If the appliqué piece has been cut out with a cutting machine, [APPLIQUE MATERIAL] does not need to be sewn. • If appropriate sequence for appliqué pieces is not displayed, (forward/back key) may help to move the needle forward or back in the pattern. 17
