Do not pull the fabric; let the machine do the work. If you pull the fabric, the needle may either bend or break. However, when sewing on special fabrics, such as tricot, crepes, knits, etc., we recommend that you support the fabric both in front and in back of the presser foot with a little tension as shown in fig.
