3 Changing the Printer Settings 3 Printer Setting Tool (for Windows® PCs) 3 Using the "Printer Setting Tool", you can specify the printer's communication settings, device settings and P-touch Template settings from a Windows® PC. 3 Note • The "Printer Setting Tool" is installed at the same time as other software, such as the printer driver. For more information, see Installing the Printer Driver and Software (When Using a Windows® PC or Mac) on page 24. • For more information on P-touch Template, download the P-touch Template Manual/Raster Command Reference (English only) from the Brother Solutions Center website: support.brother.com. Important The "Printer Setting Tool" is available only with compatible Brother printers. Before Using the Printer Setting Tool 3  Make sure the AC adapter is connected to an AC power outlet, the car adapter is connected to a DC power outlet, or the fully-charged battery is installed.  Make sure the printer driver has been installed and is functional.  Connect this printer to a computer with a USB cable or via a Bluetooth connection. With this tool, settings cannot be specified using Wi-Fi.  The P-touch Template Setting Tool can be configured only via USB. 45
