P-touch Template Command Reference Note Make sure that the printer is turned on and hooked up to the PC with a USB cable before using Transfer Manager. Also, make sure that the printer communication setting is always bidirectional communication when Transfer Manager is used. When the template is transferred to the printer, the following message appears. Step 4: Use P-touch Template commands for printing. When using P-touch Template commands, at least these four commands are required. However, two out of the four can be set by using the P-touch Template Settings tool. (1) Select the P-touch Template mode. (2) Choose the assigned number. After setting (1) and (2) with the P-touch Template Settings tool, the other two commands must be sent to the printer. - 11 - 3.
