MAINTENANCE Simple sewing machine maintenance operations are described below. Cleaning the machine Cleaning the bobbin case surface If the surface of the machine is dirty, lightly soak a cloth in neutral detergent, squeeze it out firmly, and then wipe the surface of the machine.
