File Numbering The images you take are automatically assigned a file number from 0001 to 9999 and saved in a folder (created automatically) that can hold up to 100 images. The file number is akin to the frame number of film images. The automatic file numbering method can be set to [Continuous] or [Auto reset]. Select [File numbering]. 1 Select the tab. •• Press the keys to select [File numbering], then press . Continuous Numbering The file numbering continues in sequence even after you replace the CF card. Since this prevents any images from having the same file number, it makes it easier to manage the images with a personal computer. File Numbering
The images you take are automatically assigned a file number from
0001 to 9999 and saved in a folder (created automatically) that can
hold up to 100 images. The file number is akin to the frame number of
film images. The automatic file numbering method can be set to

The file numbering continues in sequence even
after you replace the CF card. Since this
prevents any images from having the same file
number, it makes it easier to manage the
images with a personal computer.
Each time you replace the CF card, the file
numbering will be reset to the first file number
(

). Since the file number starts from

in each CF card, you can organize images
according to the CF card.
