13. Lens Cap The dedicated lens cap protects the front of the lens from shock and dust when the lens is stowed or not in use. This lens cap can also be attached to the hood as well as the lens. Attaching the Lens Cap to the Lens Attach the lens cap by slipping it directly over the end of the lens (hood mount) as shown. This lens cap can also be attached to the hood as well as the lens.

Attach the lens cap by slipping it directly over the
