Using an Electronic Viewfinder (Sold Separately) zzThe viewfinder display and camera screen cannot be activated at the same time. zzTouch operations on the camera screen are not possible while the viewfinder display is in use. zzAlthough the viewfinder is produced under extremely high-precision manufacturing conditions and more than 99.99% of the pixels meet design specifications, in rare cases some pixels may be defective or may appear as red or black dots. This does not indicate camera damage or affect recorded images. zzSome aspect ratio settings (=127) will cause black bars to be displayed on the top and bottom or left and right edges of the screen. These areas will not be recorded. zzYou can switch between viewfinder and screen display by pressing the viewfinder's < > button. zzThe screen is not activated when you move your eye away from the viewfinder with [Manual display] set to [Viewfinder] after you have selected [5: Display settings] and set [Display control] to [Manual], so press the viewfinder's < > button to activate the screen. zzDisplay of shooting information is not adjusted when you hold the camera vertically with [VF vertical display] set to [Off] after you have selected [5: Shooting info. disp.]. zzYou can configure display brightness (=498) for the viewfinder and camera screen separately. zzTo reduce the shooting screen, set [5: VF display format] to [Display 2]. zzAngular adjustment is not possible with EVF-DC2. 58
