Correcting Lens Aberration You can easily make corrections to drops in peripheral illumination, distortions in the subject, and color blur which occur by the physical characteristics of the lens or slightly remaining aberration. Please note that you can only correct RAW images which you have taken with the compatible cameras and lenses listed below. JPEG or TIFF images cannot be corrected. For images shot with the EOS 5D whose firmware version has been
changed to 1.1.1, the aberration correction function can be used with all
lenses under “Compatible Lenses”.
However, for images shot with version 1.1.0 or earlier, the following
lenses are not compatible.
