Making the Most of the Windows 98/95 Printer Driver The BJ Background Monitor makes it possible to perform the following tasks: • You can change the order of the documents you print. Drag the document you wish to change the priority of to the desired position. Please note that you cannot change the priority of the document which is being printed. • You can cancel a print job. Click the document you wish to stop printing, then select Delete from the Edit menu. When a confirmation message appears, click the OK button. • You can quit the BJ Background Monitor. Select Quit from the File menu. • You can give priority to background printing. Select Priority from the Option menu and drag the slide bar. As you drag the slide bar to the left, another job you are working on using an application program is given priority over the background printing in order to make the processing for the application program faster. • You can change the temporary directory for saving print data. To perform background printing, a region which is used to save the print data temporarily is required on the hard disk. (If sufficient hard disk space is not available, background printing cannot be performed.) To solve this problem, you need to change the directory that saves the print data temporarily, as described on the next page. Using the Windows 98/95 Printer Driver 160
