English Positioning the speakers The Reference needs a wall distance from 20 centimeter (7.9 inch) to 1 meter (3 feet) and an angle of 0° to 5° inwards. Decide for yourself which position pleases you best. The „stereo triangle" is a good rule of guidance for optimum positioning of your new Canton speakers (Fig. 1). This means that the best performance is usually obtained when the two speakers and your favourite listening position lies at the corners of an equilateral triangle. For decoupling the speakers from the floor your Reference are provided with self-adhesive rubber pucks and metal spikes. Those can either be stuck underneath the speakers or screwed in the tapped holes in the base plate of your Reference speaker (Fig. 2 and 3). Fig. 1 34 Fig. 2 Fig. 3
