INTRODUCTION • If the camera's case should ever become cracked due to dropping it or otherwise subjecting it to rough treatment, immediately turn it off. Next, remove the camera's battery and/or unplug the AC adaptor power cord from the power outlet, and contact your dealer or nearest CASIO authorized service center. • Never use the camera inside of an aircraft or in any other area where its use is prohibited. Doing so creates the risk of accident. • Physical damage and malfunction of this camera can cause the data stored in its memory to be deleted. Always keep backup copies of data by transferring them to personal computer memory. • Never open the battery cover, disconnect the AC adaptor from the camera, or unplug the AC adaptor from the wall socket while an image is being recorded. Doing so will not only make storage of the current image impossible, it can also corrupt other image data already stored in file memory. I Test for proper operation before using the camera! Before using the camera to record important images, make sure you first record a number of test images and check the results to ensure that the camera is configured correctly and operating properly. 14
