Customizing the Monitor Display If you choose to customize your monitor display, you can manually select or change the monitor brand, model, refresh rates, color, resolution, and power management settings. To customize the display using Microsoft Windows, complete the following steps: 1. Click StartÆSettingsÆControl Panel. 2. Open the Display icon. 3. Click the Settings tab. 4. In the Desktop Area box, drag the pointer to the desired resolution. 5. In the Color Palette box, select the number of colors you want to display. 6. Click OK for the changes to take effect. To customize the display using Windows NT Workstation, complete the following steps: 1. Click StartÆSettingsÆControl Panel. 2. Open the Display icon. 3. Click the Settings tab. 4. In the Desktop Area box, drag the pointer to the desired resolution. 5. In the Color Palette box, select the number of colors you want to display. 6. Select List All Modes and choose a mode from the list of valid modes. Click OK for the changes to take effect. 7. Click Test to test the changes made to the display settings. 8. If you choose to customize your monitor display, you can
