Prepare the computer for disassembly. 2. Remove the Palmrest Cover with TouchPad. 3. Remove the keyboard. 4. Remove three screws from the Heatspreader and lift out of the chassis. If the thermal pads on the NOTE: Heatspreader are missing or damaged, a new Heatspreader should be installed. To replace the Heatspreader, reverse the previous procedures. Before installing the new IMPORTANT: Heatspreader, remove the plastic covering from the thermal pads. WARNING: To prevent damage, do not use excessive force when replacing the screws.
