Enterprise Backup Solution for VERITAS Backup Exec™ 10 Maximum Server Configuration The current EBS for VERITAS Backup Exec™ supports a maximum of 20 servers in a cascaded 12 port hub environment as shown in Figure 3. If shorter backup windows are needed, additional DLT drives can be added. For every server that is eliminated, up to four drives can be added with the FCTC-II to increase the aggregate throughput of the EBS. See the "Sizer Utility" section to determine performance of the EBS.
