4 Drives Adding a Drive to the System Drives enable you to store and access data. A standard removable drive can be added to the system by inserting the drive into the MultiBay of an optional External MultiBay or docking station. A USB drive can be added by connecting the drive to a USB connector on the tablet PC or on the docking station. Hard drive functions can also be added with a microdrive PC Card. For information about connecting a USB drive, see the "External Device Connections" chapter. For information about PC Cards, see the "Hardware Upgrades" chapter. For general information about inserting and removing drives from an External MultiBay or docking station, refer to the documentation included with the device. Adding a Drive to the System
Drives enable you to store and access data.
A standard removable drive can be added to the system by
inserting the drive into the MultiBay of an optional External
MultiBay or docking station. A USB drive can be added by
connecting the drive to a USB connector on the tablet PC or on
the docking station. Hard drive functions can also be added with
a microdrive PC Card.
