Operator's Manual BV228 EC 2-Cycle Electric Start Capable Handheld Blower / Vacuum English - Page 1 Français - Page 5 Removing Unit From Carton Assemble The Unit 50:1 1 Remove all contents from carton. Assemble The Unit 2 Insert the upper blower tube into the blower outlet and turn it clockwise until it locks into place. Starting The Unit Primer Bulb 1 Gallon 2.6 oz 3 Install the lower blower tube onto the upper blower tube and turn it clockwise until it locks into place. 4 Mix thoroughly in a separate fuel can: - 2.6 fl. oz. of 2-cycle engine oil - 1 gallon of unleaded gasoline NOTE: Do not mix directly in the fuel tank. Choke Lever Tools Required: • Flathead Screwdriver Handle On/Off Stop Control Cruise Control Spark Plug Upper Blower Tube Lower Blower Tube Muffler Cover Primer Bulb Trigger Air Filter Cover Starter Rope Choke Lever 5 Place the unit on a level surface. Fill the fuel tank. 10 X 16 Press the primer bulb 10 times, or until fuel is visible. 7 Move the choke lever to Position 1. Lower Vacuum Tube Upper Vacuum Tube Fuel Cap Starting The Unit Vacuum Elbow Vacuum Bag Strap Cinch Strap 18 Crouch in the starting position. 9 Squeeze and hold the throttle for all further steps. 5 X 10 Pull the rope 5 times. 11 Move the choke lever to Position 2. Vacuum Bag Zipper Starting The Unit 3-5 X 12 Continue to squeeze the trigger. Pull the rope 3-5 times to start the engine. 113 Continue to squeeze the trigger, or press down the cruise control, and allow the unit to warm up for 30-60 seconds. 14 Continue to squeeze the trigger. Move the choke lever to Position 3. Warm the unit for an additional 60 seconds. The unit may be used during this time. Need Help? Call 1-877-282-8684 DIDN'T START? Repeat the starting instructions.
