CUB CADET LLC MANUFACTURER'S LIMITED WARRANTY FOR RESIDENTIAL ZERO-TURN RIDING MOWERS LIMITED WARRANTY from the date of original purchase by the Initial Purchaser. Normal The limited warranty set forth herein is given by Cub Cadet LLC with respect to a new Residential Zero-Turn Riding Mowers (hereinafter "RZT") purchased and used in the United States and/or Canada to the Initial Purchaser (as Wear Parts include, but are not limited to items such as: belts, blades, blade adapters, grass bags, rider deck wheels, seats, tires, filters and other consumable items. defined herein). Scope of the Limited Warranty Cub Cadet LLC offers the following limited warranty to the Initial Purchaser for residential or otherwise non-commercial use: except for the Exclusions (defined herein), during the Warranty Period (as defined herein), this RZT will be free from manufacturing defects (including workmanship and materials). The "Initial Purchaser" is the first person to purchase this new RZT from an authorized Cub Cadet dealer, distributor and/or retailer of such products. This limited warranty is non-transferrable. Subject to the Exclusions and except as otherwise set forth herein, the limited warranty period for this new RZT purchased by the Initial Purchaser is three (3) years from the date of purchase as shown on the original sales receipt for the product ("Warranty Period"). Cub Cadet LLC warrants the optional fabricated cutting deck shell (excluding wear parts, etc. thereon) against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, namely for as long as it is owned by its Initial Purchaser or the party for whom it was originally purchased as a gift, or seven (7) years from the date of its initial sale to an Initial Purchaser, whichever comes first. Defects in Workmanship or Materials Subject to the Exclusions and except as otherwise set forth herein, this RZT is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in either workmanship or materials for the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, Cub Cadet LLC will, at its option, either repair or replace any original part that is covered by this limited warranty and is determined to be defective in workmanship or material. To qualify for this limited warranty this RZT: 7. Any RZT that has been altered or modified in a manner not consistent with the original design of the RZT or in a manner not approved by Cub Cadet LLC. 8. Paint repairs or replacements for defective paint (including materials and application) are covered for a period of three (3) months. 9. Wheel rims (when so equipped), are covered for a period of three (3) months for manufacturing defects. 10. Batteries have a one-year prorated limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship, with 100% replacement during the first three (3) months from the date of original purchase by the Initial Purchaser. After three (3) months, the battery replacement credit is based on the months remaining in the twelve (12) month period dating back to the date of original purchase by the Initial Purchaser. Any replacement battery will be warranted only for the remainder of the original warranty period. 11. Attachments. Attachments (as defined herein) extend to the Initial Purchaser and are subject to a separate warranty. Please refer to the applicable Attachment warranty for terms and conditions relating to coverage. Attachments include, but are not limited to items such as: grass collectors and mulch kits.
