The Fixed Dome Network Camera uses Category 5 UTP cable allowing 10 Base-T and 100 Base-T networking solutions. 3. Can the Fixed Dome Network Camera be setup as a PC-cam on a computer? No, the Fixed Dome Network Camera is used only on an Ethernet or Fast Ethernet network. The D-Link DSB-C110, DSB-C310, can be used as a PC Camera (Webcam). 4. Can the Fixed Dome Network Camera be connected to the network if it consists only of private IP addresses? The Fixed Dome Network Camera can be connected to a LAN with private IP addresses. 5. Can the Fixed Dome Network Camera be installed and work if a firewall exists on the network? If a firewall exists on the network, port 80 is open for ordinary data communication.
