Switch# 4-19 tacacs-server host This command is used to create a TACACS+ server host. Use the no form of this command to remove a server host. tacacs-server host IP-ADDRESS [port PORT] [timeout SECONDS] key [0 | 7] KEY-STRING no tacacs-server host IP-ADDRESS Parameters IP-ADDRESS port PORT-NUMBER timeout SECONDS 0 7 key KEY-STRING Specifies the IPv4 address of the TACACS+ server. (Optional) Specifies the UDP destination port number for sending request packets. The default port number is 49. The range is 1 to 65535. (Optional) Specifies the time-out value. This value must be between 1 and 255 seconds. The default value is 5 seconds. (Optional) Specifies the password in the clear text form. This is the default option. (Optional) Specifies the password in the encrypted form. Specifies the key used to communicate with the server. The key can be from 1 to 254 clear text characters. Default No TACACS+ server host is configured. Command Mode Global Configuration Mode. Command Default Level Level: 15.
