Home > Advanced Settings > Performance Using the Configuration Menu Wireless Band: IEEE 802.11g. Frequency: The frequency reflects the choice of the wireless channel. When IEEE 802.11g is chosen the frequency is 2.437GHz for channel 6. Channel: The default channel for IEEE 802.11g is 6. Data Rate*: The Data Rates are Auto, 6Mbps, 9Mbps, 12Mbps, 18Mbps, 24Mbps, 36Mbps, 48Mbps, 54Mbps. Beacon Interval: Beacons are packets sent by an access point to synchronize a network. Specify a beacon interval value. The default (100) is recommended. DTIM: (Delivery Traffic Indication Message) - Select a setting between 1 and 255. 1 is the default setting. DTIM is a countdown informing clients of the next window for listening to broadcast and multicast messages. *"Maximum wireless signal rate based on IEEE Standard 802.11a and 802.11g specifications. Actual data throughput will vary. Network conditions and environmental factors, including volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, and network overhead lower actual data throughout rate." 25
