Troubleshooting Some common problems that occur during switch installation and basic configuration are simple to solve. However, to "recover" the system password, you must delete the existing switch configuration. System logs provide a history of MSS events. Traces display real-time messages from all MSS areas. Some show commands are particularly useful in troubleshooting. Fixing Common Setup Problems
