To view the following window, click L2 Features>FDB> MAC Notification, as shown below: Figure 5-7MAC Notification (MAC Notification Settings) Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter Description MAC Address Notification Select to enable or disable MAC notification globally on the Switch Interval Enter the time value between notifications. This value must be between 1 and 2147483647 seconds. By default, this value is 1 second. History Size Enter the maximum number of entries listed in the history log used for notification. This value must be between 0 and 500. By default, this value is 1. MAC Notification Trap State Select to enable or disable the MAC notification trap state. Unit Select the stacking unit ID of the Switch that will be configured here. From Port ~ To Port Select the range of ports that will be used for this configuration here. Added Trap Select to enable or disable the added trap for the port(s) selected. Removed Trap Select to enable or disable the removed trap for the port(s) selected. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made for each individual section. After selecting the MAC Notification History tab, at the top of the page, the following page will be available.
