STEP 3 Exhaust Duct Assembly and Installation DMO2420 Microwave with APMTK Exhaust Duct Assembly Place the exhaust duct assembly in the opening. When the exhaust duct assembly is in the opening correctly, its flanges will be tightly against the lower edge of the opening. Secure the exhaust duct assembly with two screws on the sides. Figure 7: APMTK Exhaust Duct Assembly Place the oven adjacent to the wall or cabinet opening. Connect the cord box to the electrical outlet. Then slide the oven into place. Carefully guide the assembled oven into the prepared opening. Slide the oven on the exhaust duct assembly. Avoid pinching the cord between the oven and the wall. Adjust the position of the oven so that the feet of the oven are fitted into the recesses of the exhaust duct assembly. Secure together by using a screw provided in the kit. Remove the existing screw at the upper right rear of the oven and secure duct (C) with the screw just removed from the oven. Secure duct (B) with screw through the duct and into the original screw hole in the oven. Figure 9: DCM24 Rear Exhaust Assembly Position duct (A)-1 on the top of the oven inserting edge of duct (BC) into hold lip of duct (A)-1. Then tighten two screws, securing duct (BC). Figure 10: DCM24 Top Exhaust Assembly Position duct (A)-2 on top of the oven and insert it into the hold lip of duct (A)-1. Secure duct (A)-2 to duct (A)-1 using the screws provided.
