This type of electric element uses a wire ribbon to provide the heat for cooking. G Dual Radiant Element: Located below the cooking surface. The dual element consists of two radiant ribbon elements within the same heating area. Either the small (inner element) or both (inner and outer) elements may be selected for use depending on the knob position. There are an infinite number of heat settings between the LO and HI position for both operating modes. H Triple Radiant Element: Located below the cooking surface. The triple element consists of three radiant ribbon elements within the same heating area. Either the one (inner element), two (inner and middle) or three (inner, middle and outer) elements may be selected for use depending on the knob position. There are an infinite number of heat settings between the LO and HI position for all three operating modes. K Hot Surface Indicator Light: Each element features a hot surface indicator light to show when the corresponding element is ON or hot. Temperature Limiters Each element has its own sensor to protect the cooking surface from extremely high temperatures. The limiter automatically cycles the element on and off to maintain a constant cooking temperature based on the knob setting. 6
